About Gallery Seek

After its establishment in 2009, Gallery Seek has been presenting artists in a multifaceted way, crossing participation in art fairs and events.

In 2020, Shiono and Kenta Nakajima, painters of the same generation, will collaborate with a number of organizations, including Avex, to create a joint project as well as launch ARTIST NEW GATE, a competition for a new era of contemporary art.
Currently, the gallery is located in Caretta Shiodome, a complex that houses a variety of restaurants and stores, a theater, and an advertisement museum.

''Seek a knot in a bulrush'',

There is an English proverb that goes ''Seek a knot in a bulrush, which means to seek a problem that doesn't exist.
At Gallery Seek, we have adopted a new saying: ''Seek a knot with art.'' This means that we wish to solve and improved certain concepts and dynamics through the media of art, and thus we plan and promote exhibitions that showcase the charm of our every artist.
