Golden-Haired Dragon

About this work

Rendered on an elongated vertical panel, a dragon clad in golden fur rises through the composition with sinuous force. Acrylic paint applied in controlled yet fluid strokes builds layers of texture—scales, bristling hair, and translucent washes—while deliberate areas of open space allow the creature's presence to resonate beyond its physical outline. The narrow format compresses the tension between representational detail and atmospheric emptiness, anchoring the artist's sustained inquiry into the vitality inherent in animal forms.
