Owl

About this work

Rendered in mixed media on panel, an owl emerges through distilled form and restrained tones, its gaze directed steadily outward. Rather than naturalistic depiction, the work extracts the animal's essential silhouette and presence, establishing what the artist describes as a gentle distance—neither too close nor too far—between subject and viewer. The owl functions as a vessel onto which each viewer may project personal associations, quietly inviting dialogue and empathy.
