Generated by layering a sequence of operations onto a single photograph — selecting a region, rotating, reflecting, distorting, layering — this work makes visible a structure in which information is folded over many times. As the title states, fragments of the image accumulate, dismantling the context of the original landscape while raising a new spatial order. The spatial awareness of an artist with a background in architectural design connects those digital operations to real space through the material transparency and layered thickness of UV printing onto an acrylic panel.
