Anonymous Horizon -ver.blue-

About this work

A seascape composed solely of shore and horizon unfolds through gradations of blue. Reproduced as an archival print, this 29 cm square work condenses the brushwork and tonal depth of the original oil painting. Part of the 'Anonymous Horizon' series, the image deliberately excludes any human figure or object, functioning as what the artist calls a 'device for regenerating memory'—an open field where viewers project their own recollections and emotions onto the quiet expanse of sea.
